As for many seasons now, the S.N.S. Herning label, created in 1931 in the city of Herning in Denmark, is available at FrenchTrotters.
Since its creation, the knits have been crafted using the same traditional technique & knowledge, with the son of the founder heading the production. A traditional know-how handed down from one generation to the next, for extremely resistant sweaters, originally aiming at protecting seamen against to the bad weather on the North Sea. You could find the Stark model, in sweater and cardigan, the Naval sweater, striped and plain, the Apex sweater and its Bulb pattern knit, or even the Version Crew. All garments are made of pure new wool and knitted in Denmark. Available online and in our store on rue de Charonne and rue Vieille du Temple. |

Footwear fanatics, behold, our collaboration with mythic American shoemaker Alden, founded in 1884, is back. This season, five new exclusive models, created with comfort and utmost attention to detail in mind.
Handmade in the United States, « expressly for FrenchTrotters », this collection is composed of Derbies and Indy Boots (Harrison Ford’s shoes in Indiana Jones) in suede and cordovan (equine leather very famous for its smooth and resistant side). These shoes are made on different lasts : Truebalance, Barrie or exclusively for FrenchTrotters, the 379X, originally seen on the feet of American soldiers during World War II. But all provide unparalleled comfort. Experts will enjoy the addition of a line of quality accessories : different brushes and fine paste polish for your leather shoes as weel as a coin case, shoe horn, knife case and magnifier case. The shoes and accessories are available at our store on rue Vieille du Temple and on our online shop. |

This winter, FrenchTrotters continues its collaboration with Veja. The sneakers line for men welcomes a new mid-height pair, available in four colours, made out of acacia tanned leather and wild rubber sole from the Amazon rainforest. You can also find the original model in two new colorways, Elephant and Burgundy, alongside versions of classic camel and black. With the launch of the new model, come discover a new installation in the windows of our shops. The collection is also available online. |

FrenchTrotters Men – FW12 | 14 September 2012

The new winter collection FrenchTrotters for men is now available. We find the two lines to our collection: Crafted in Paris and Knitted in Britanny.
The first line highlights the iconic models of the brand crafted in Paris. We find the James shirts with back yoke. The heavy Sam shirts, in velvet or wool, ideal for this winter. And novelty of the season, the Edward navy blue parka in wool with yoke and check lining. The second line, crafted in our Breton workshop, presents the classic Albert sweaters in new colors (mustard, blue, olive and rust), sweaters and military cardigans Bernard and Simon, with coton yokes. The novelty of this collection is the pattern knitted Norvegian, blue and white. |

Although the weather is still fine, leaves are starting to fall. So it’s time to take a glance at the Our Legacy Autumn-Winter 12 collection. The Swedish brand, founded in 2005 by Cristopher Nying and Jockum Hallin, revisits once more the classical masculine wardrobe. The garments have a perfect cut and are made with the best materials inspired by Scandinavian lifestyle. The collection is beautifully presented in their atmospheric lookbook shot by Japanese photographer Takashi Homma.Available at our stores and online. |

We showed you last week the very first images of the work in progress of our brand new store which will open at the end of august in the Marais, on 128 rue Vieille du Temple. Here is today an illustration which gives you a glimpse on the future frontage.As a reminder, our men’s shop located on 116 rue Vieille du Temple will move to a 200 sq/m flagship store, located on the 128th on the same street, and will offer a carefully curated selection for men and women, as well as all the FrenchTrotters collections and collaborations.
